1776 is a sparkling re-creation of the momentous days from May 8
to July 4 in Philadelphia, when the Second Continental Congress
argued about, voted on, and signed the Declaration of Independence.
By Peter Stone and Sherman Edwards and winner of five Tony awards,
including Best Book and Best Musical, and the New York Drama Critics
Circle award for Best Musical. An Actors' NET favorite.

The raucous original 1928 Broadway musical with book by George S.
Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind, music and lyrics by Bert Kalmar and
Harry Ruby, was written for the Marx Brothers and the basis for
the 1930 film of the same name. Don't miss a chance to step back
in time with the comic masters, the Marx Brothers, in the show that
introduced Groucho's theme song, "Horay for Captain Spaulding."
Starring -- in the roles originally created by the Marx Brothers
