During the Civil War, 14,000 Union soldiers died as POWS in the Confederate Prison in Andersonville, Georgia. Following the war, the Union Army held a military tribunal to prosecute the man who ran this infamous prison camp.Henry Wirz claimed he was simply following orders. Can inhumane treatment ever be justified?
